Strategy | Behind the Idea
The primary goal of this video was to create interest by utilizing a type 2 emotional response - wherein the viewer sees the ad as creatively imaginative and “cool” (source). These types of ads can be particularly effective for brands that need to convey themselves as just that - creative, cool, and ahead of their time.
We aimed to accomplish this by taking our viewer on a journey through the escapist daydream of a motorcycle rider. We used creative methods to build the action up until finally releasing it with the stationary shot at the end of the daydream to accentuate the emotional journey.
