Project Goals

The primary goals of this project were to humanize the client's digital B2B relationships, as well as to build trust and clarify their strategic position on their website.


The Challenge

Electrogas's clients need to trust them with their lives and multi-million dollar operations. We therefore needed a way to quickly and seamlessly communicate their values and clarify their strategic positioning. In other words, we needed an engaging and believable way to show the level of professional expertise, ethical soundness, and commitment to continued support that sets Electrogas apart in the industry.


Key Production Decisions

  • To validate the brand’s real and deep commitment to its foundational values and to show team cohesion, we used multiple unscripted conversations to show that the same values were reflected across the entire organization.

  • Using testimonials from Electrogas' clients moves claims from "marketing promises" to "verified realities" and is an important part of building trust and credibility.

  • Detailed planning allowed for a predictable story arc to be delivered in a natural way. This approach also allowed us to create a pre-determined number of self-contained social media "bites" that could stand alone while driving viewers back to the full narrative.

  • We decided on some key audio bites ahead of time, like "what is the true cost of safety" to ensure that all important beats were captured during the interviews.

  • The visual style was carefully maintained to ensure the tone and quality of the full mini-documentary carried throughout seamlessly.

  • We decided to use tighter lenses for this production in order to give it more of a narrative/doc feel than a commercial one.


Results and Impact

  • The only six posts from this project currently on Electrogas' Instagram page performed roughly 2x better than their most recent six non-Sun Reel video posts. (taking into account shares, likes, views, and comments).

  • Powerful sales and onboarding tool, providing prospects with the necessary understanding of the value addition provided by Electrogas.

  • Provides a powerful tool for new staff, quickly imparting the emotional and ethical context required for the role.
